Living In Peace

This Topic Im expounding on today reminds me of a sign I pass by on my way back from work There is sign that says on a church bulletin that says practice being kind rather than being right, I now it sounds high and mighty of me to say That GOD'S Word is the way the truth and The Light. But it has guided me to so many peaceful resolutions than to rough and bumpy terrains. I mean GOD'S Word literally says that He makes bumpy paths straight.

(4As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

5Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

6And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. ) Luke 3:4-6

I have had many rough paths that The LORD'S Wisdom has made smooth relations being one of them. How The enemy has tempted me many times with people whether they are strangers or people I know so much wise advise comes from proverbs sometimes we want to do the "Right Thing" and what I mean by that is to intervene in a situation not belonging to you but The Word of GOD says

He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears. Proverbs 26:7

The best thing for us to do sometimes us as Christians is to pray or Allow THE SPIRIT of THE LORD to lead us to the situation at the proper time if that's What GOD'S will is. Maybe your Prayers is what will solve the problem to the situation lets be Honest staying quiet and peaceful is not our natural desire and reaction. There is so much good advice that the Word of God has offered to keep peace , i'm sure you've heard the saying kill them with kindness that sounds new but like The bible says nothing is new under the sun The LORD was the first to say this in the beatitude's in (Matthew 5) Love your neighbor as yourself and love your enemies and also stated in

(Romans 12:20) Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Us as Christians are called to literally do what The World thought it came up with but it's even in The Old testament When Elisha blinded the Syrian army and they fed them.

There is so many examples of love and wisdom in The Bible on how to keep peace with people, I cant recall specifically imgoign to be truthful i havent read The book of Jeremiah yet but i have heard and seen many videos on it but (it is VERY Important to read YOUR BIBLE not just go off of Cartoons and Videos Some Things may be inaccurate to Extremely inaccurate) Going back to what i was saying the Channel i watched was from This Biblical explanation channel ( The Bible Project) and they read on How while Israel was under Babylonian reign They were told to respect authority and pray for the well being of The kingdom. but they couldnt submit to the cultures ideals and ways and especially gods which is still what GOD'S chosen people are still called to do till this day a Holy Nation of peculiar people. We are looking out for the well being of others even if they hate us.

They In turned Kept the peace with The kingdom but didn't submit to ideals culture and gods. if it contradicts what GOD'S Word says its a no go.

What else we are called to do is of course like this Blog is Called " The Good News"

why because its called the Gospel of Peace and we are called to share it who doesnt want to know about peace especially one that surpasses all understanding so to the unbeliever if a peaceful Christian is trying to share the Gospel its a peace offering without offense and the way to be saved from judgement on that day or death. Its an act of Love not to be right if you have had intense confrontation resulting in an argument then I'm sorry for that experience but don't expect GOD to give up on give you giving a warning of Love using somebody to remind you of The Good News. They may be obeying what God is asking of you even if it results in them getting hurt think about it JESUS CHRIST only wanted to advocate peace and love and look where it still resulted HE did nothing and stood for the truth looking out for the well being of people like Mary Magdelene (prostitute) and She Experienced HIS Love when no one else could love her and thats the same love and peace yo could be pushing away. Remember John3:16 For God so Loved the world HE gave HIS only begotten SON that whosoever beliveth in HIM shall not perish but have everlasting life.
